Member profiles, a member directory, follows, and private 1:1 and group messages with video calls - for the people who log in to your site.

== Description ==

Give the people who log in to your WordPress site a place to talk to each other.

= What it does =

**Members**
* A profile for every member, filled in from their WordPress name and picture
* Skills, location and what they do on every profile, so members find the right people
* Posts and photos on every profile
* Follow anyone and see what they share
* A member directory with search by name, skill or what they do
* Members use their existing WordPress login - nothing new to sign up for
**Talk**
* Private 1:1 conversations that update live, with unread counts
* Group chats for teams and projects
* A video call from any conversation, in the browser - up to four people, no app to install
* Book a call with a member straight from their profile
* One inbox for every conversation
**Safety**
* Each member chooses who can message them
* Block and report in one tap
* Moderate from WordPress: see what members reported, remove it, suspend or ban - one click
* Your members only ever see your community - never another site's
* Switch the community off any time
**On your site**
* Blocks for the block editor and widgets for Elementor - drop the whole community on a page, no code
* One-tap sign-in on the "Log in to message other members" prompt when Joyvo Social Login is active
* Runs on Joyvo, so there is nothing to host or scale and your site stays fast
* With Joyvo Marketplace: "Message the seller" opens the seller's profile, a Shop button goes back to their store, one follow covers both, and new products reach the feed

== Installation ==

1. Upload the plugin and activate it.
2. Create an API key in your Joyvo account under API keys (you can limit it to this domain).
3. Settings > Community: paste the key, save, and press "Test the connection".
4. Add `[joyvo_community]` to any page.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Do my members need a Joyvo account? =

No. They use their WordPress login.

= Can members of another site see mine? =

No. Every connected site is its own community.

= Who sets the age rules for my community? =

You do, as the site owner - the same as for your site's own accounts. You can pause the whole community from your dashboard at any time.

== Changelog ==

= 1.3.1 - 2026-10-11 =
* The community now shows at its full height on every page (it could appear as a thin strip).
* Names with an & in them now show correctly on profiles.
* Faster start on slow hosts: the community asks your site for a session once, not over and over.

= 1.3.0 - 2026-10-07 =
* With Joyvo Marketplace on the same site: "Message the seller" opens the seller's profile here, with a Shop button back to their store.
* Following a store follows its seller here too, and a seller's new products show in their feed.

= 1.2.0 - 2026-10-07 =
* One-tap sign-in on the "Log in to message other members" prompt when Joyvo Social Login is active.

= 1.1.0 - 2026-10-04 =
* Moderate your community from WordPress: see what members reported, remove it, suspend or ban - one click.
* Blocks for the block editor and widgets for Elementor.

= 1.0.0 =
* First release: member profiles, a member directory, follows, and private and group messages
  with video calls - for the people who log in to your site.
